About the role
- Analista Tributário Jr at Grupo Ultra, responsible for tax compliance and reviewing obligations for one of Brazil's largest business groups. Supporting internal teams and conducting legal analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and review ancillary tax obligations (DCTF, ECF, EFD, etc.)
- Analyze tax documents, accounting books and management documents necessary to respond to tax audits and inquiries
- Prepare tax/fiscal technical opinions, as well as a supporting document package that underpins the analysis
- Identify potential tax risks and propose possible solutions
- Support in the renewal, acquisition and management of digital certificates
- Renew federal tax clearances/certificates and address any issues that prevent their automatic renewal
- Monitor electronic mailboxes available in e‑CAC
- Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Accounting, Tax and Legal
- Perform reconciliation of judicial deposits
- Analyze and post accounting entries related to legal provisions and assess their impacts on operating and financial results
- Monitor and perform comparative analyses of possible and remote contingencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields
- Basic knowledge of federal, state and municipal tax legislation
- Knowledge of preparing and amending ancillary tax obligations/returns
- Experience with e‑CAC and its functionalities
- Basic accounting knowledge (understanding and application of accounting principles)
- Good communication and writing skills
- Experience in calculating federal and state taxes
- Experience handling federal electronic tax procedures (e‑MAC)
- Experience with reconciliation of judicial deposits
- Analysis and accounting of provisions and their impacts on operating results and financials
- Advanced Excel and Business Intelligence skills
