Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and configuring virtual machines, storage (S3/Blob), and networking components (VPCs, subnets).
- Track system performance metrics using tools like AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor, ensuring high availability.
- Identify, document, and resolve minor technical issues or infrastructure errors.
- Write and maintain basic scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks.
- Apply security best practices, such as managing user access, firewalls, and security groups.
- Work with developers and DevOps teams to support application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
- Update technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree, or at least 2-4 years of experience in related field
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to influence and collaborate with leadership, peers, and team members
- Approved to work in the United States
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Some hands-on experience with cloud architecture/engineering, services, migration, and security to include FedRAMP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
- Experience with Cloud-based Computer Network Defense (CND)
- Experience with cloud automation and scripting (Auto-scale, Azure Resource management, Scripting, PowerShell)
