Senior Technical Recruiter building engineering teams for AI/ML and product startups. Partnering with founders and hiring managers to shape team structure and strategy.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end recruiting for high-priority technical roles across tech (AI/ML, Product, Data Science, Development, etc).
Build and nurture pipelines of passive candidates through creative outreach, talent mapping, and market research
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define profiles, and calibrate on quality
Write compelling outreach messages and pitch our startups with clarity, insight, and enthusiasm
Conduct screening calls and assess for technical depth, trajectory, and startup fit
Track candidate data, metrics, and pipeline health using our ATS (Ashby)
Deliver a thoughtful, white-glove candidate experience from first touch through close
Share insights on talent trends, compensation, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy
Collaborate on employer brand and recruiting content where helpful
Contribute to refining and evolving our recruiting playbook
Requirements
5+ years of experience in technical recruiting
1+ years in a staffing/agency or AI startup environment
Experience hiring for engineering, data, and product roles
Proficiency in sourcing tools and strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, Boolean/X-ray, GitHub, etc.)
Deep understanding of technical skill sets, stacks, and startup hiring signals
Strong communication and storytelling skills, you can pitch the mission, not just the job
Comfortable juggling multiple searches, tight timelines, and shifting priorities
Familiarity with modern ATS platforms (Ashby Experience a plus)
