Responsibilities
Owning International Carrier Liability balances by preparing reconciliations, identifying variances and recommending solutions
Being a key point of contact for queries and negotiations with internal country supply managers and external Carrier partners
Preparing and presenting monthly and periodic analysis of creditor movements
Ownership of Carrier Liability budgeting and forecasting
Mapping and simplification of current Balance Sheet processes and implementation of improvements
Developing and documenting controls around carrier liability reconciliations
Demonstrate continuous process improvement and work with others to streamline key processes
Business partner across the Management Accounts, Commercial Finance, Data and Controls and Group Reporting teams
Lead by example and promote Trainline behaviours
Requirements
Qualified CA/ACCA/CIMA
2+ PQ years’ experience and strong financial accounting experience
Proficiency in a European language (French, Italian, Spanish, or German) is desirable, but not required
Experience operating with an enterprise-wide, integrated finance system across multiple business units
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
