About the role
- Senior Automation Test Engineer enhancing trading applications through automated integration testing using the Pact framework and AI tools for efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and execute contract tests for integration tests. (pact.io)
- Run automated tests and analyze the results.
- Use and involve AI tools to the testing framework to make the work faster and more efficient.
- Suggest improvements for the product and its usability by working in the POD (Product-Oriented Delivery) framework
- Work with other testers to help them learn new skills and improve their testing tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with scripting automation tests - integration level
- 3+ years experience with Python
- Automation framework design and development experience
- Understanding of the testing and development life cycle methodologies
- Knowledge of Rest API testing and SQL
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Good Git usage experience
- Desired: Experience with Selenium/Playwright
- Desired: AI experience
- Desired: Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement
- Desired: Knowledge of the financial industry and trading systems is a plus
