About the role
- Senior Accountant responsible for processing supplier invoices and supporting finance operations at Tototheo Global. Joining a team focused on operational efficiency in the technology sector.
Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices accurately
- Track and prepare payment runs for review and approval
- Maintain and update vendor records and related documentation
- Enter financial data into the company’s accounting system (Microsoft Business Central – formerly Navision)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Review and process employee expenses and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor project- or job-related expenses and allocations
- Support internal departments with finance-related queries and processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations as needed
- Prepares monthly reporting and presents it to the Senior Financial Controller
- Oversees the Accounting Officers team and ensures that the correct procedures as determined by the company are followed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) is preferred
- Understanding of multi-currency and cross-border accounting practices
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability
- Optional Skills: Experience in the maritime, logistics, or technology sectors is a strong advantage
- Experience with electronic invoicing systems and automation tools is a plus
- Participation in process improvement initiatives within the finance function is desirable
- Awareness of industry-specific regulations or tax rules (e.g., IMO standards, Vessels, VAT for maritime services and goods etc..)
