About the role

  • Business Development Manager driving strategic growth through client engagement and market insights at Tototheo Global. Focusing on expanding business in maritime, enterprise, and government sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting - Identify potential customers through marketing campaigns, industry research, and networking efforts. Contact potential customers via various methods, including social selling, cold calling, and email outreach. Utilize industry tools and resources to uncover new business development opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement - Present Tototheo Global and its products/services to potential customers professionally and persuasively. Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions from the company's portfolio. Organize meetings or calls between potential customers and sales executives to progress sales opportunities.
  • Sales Process Management - Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all prospecting and sales activity in the Hubspot CRM system. Collaborate with company executives to ensure lead quality and alignment with sales strategies. Report on sales performance to the Senior Director, Business Development on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Industry Engagement & Marketing - Participate in industry events, including trade shows, marketing events, and corporate functions, to expand the company's network and brand visibility. Represent the company at these events, showcasing in-depth knowledge of Tototheo Global offerings.
  • Large Commercial Deals - Support the sales team, participate in direct customer meetings and formulate strategy on targeted solution offering and value proposition.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging customers through various channels
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management tools and lead generation techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of the maritime, enterprise & government industry or the ability to acquire it rapidly
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development, Sales Development or Sales role
  • A hunting mentality with a very strong Sales DNA and demonstrated success
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques
  • A track record of developing a greenfield territory, attracting net new logos
  • Experience with either IT/Telecommunications/Satellite, Ship Owner/Operations and Maritime Industry customers
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is beneficial
  • Exceptionally good coordination skills and ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Hubspot CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or any outbound campaign outreach tools
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment and deep understanding of satellite connectivity and digital solutions needs of end users and resellers
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
