About the role
- Business Analyst leveraging analytical skills to enhance operations within Toastmasters International, collaborating with teams to define and document business processes and needs.
Responsibilities
- Define and document business functions and processes
- Identifies and solicits opportunities for business process improvement
- Consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures
- Acts as a liaison between department end-users, application developers, and management in the analysis, design, and maintenance of systems
- Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new or enhanced system functionality
- Support Quality Assurance engineers in translating business requirements to test requirements
- Assist in the facilitation of requirements prioritization based on business value
- Balance technology and business issues and communicate appropriately
- Assist in the enforcement of project deadlines, schedules and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Project management or Computer Science (or similar)
- 2-4 years of conducting business process analysis, design and documentation
- Excellent understanding of technology, SDLC and software requirements documentation including Agile
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira
