About the role
- Intern role assisting with accounting tasks at Timbro, a growing company with a strong commitment to results. Collaborate with teams on monthly financial closings and account reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and organizing documents for the monthly accounting close
- Perform basic account reconciliations under team supervision
- Support the review and validation of journal entries and system inputs originating from operational areas
- Assist in creating support spreadsheets for financial statements
- Help monitor and control accounting outstanding items with internal departments
- Support the team in consolidating accounting information for group companies
- Update internal controls and tracking spreadsheets for accounting routines
- Provide support in organizing files and documentation for internal and external audits
- Perform other administrative and operational tasks relevant to the accounting area
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting (from the 2nd semester onward)
- Basic Excel skills (simple formulas, tables, and filters)
- Introductory knowledge of debit/credit, financial statements, and accounting routines
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
