Responsibilities
Design, deploy and support Global Network Infrastructures utilizing industry best practices.
Contribute to the development of various automations with various network hardware to include but not limited to Cisco Data Center and User Access service offerings, F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls, NGNIX Application Deployment Orchestration tools
Engage in complex production impacting technical issues and work to troubleshoot and restore service and root cause analysis
Collaboration with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) on protocol risk
Lead overall technical implementation for large and complex Network Programs
Develop documentation and capacity plans
Deliver technical briefings, Solution Design sessions and Proofs-of-Concepts to all levels of stakeholders
Research and evaluate infrastructure strategies, hardware/software, security and networking products
Advise management of options, risk vs. cost, benefits and other impacts of infrastructure solutions
Set and document technical standards for network infrastructure, security baselines, policies and procedures
Work with outsource vendor to drive sound architectures, engineering designs, and configuration templates
Ability to share an on-call rotation with your Engineering Team and be an escalation contact for service incidents
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Required
3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
3+ years’ of experience in supporting, monitoring, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors on a large enterprise and global scale.
Demonstrated proficiency in routing protocols (such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network protocols (such as IPv4, IPv6, NAT, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS)
Experience in Routing and switching hardware platforms architecture, forwarding and data planes
Software Defined Networks such as Cisco ACI Leaf and Spine Architecture
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
Industry Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, CCIE Datacenter, CCDE, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC or AWS Networking Specialist are desirable.
Experience with network automation platforms (ex. Ansible, Python)
Experience with Data Center network design and engineering, including multi-site architecture, spine/leaf configuration, VDCs, and edge routing.
Experience with cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) technologies and various WAN topologies including MPLS, VPLS/EVC, DIA, DWDM, and Point to Point configurations.
Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Networking Access (SDA) technologies and Cisco DNA Center to manage SDA environments.
Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Wireless LAN Controller technologies and Wireless Access Points, including 802.11a, b, g, n, ac and ax standards, 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies, and wireless optimization configurations for optimized client servicing, roaming and location services.
