About the role

• Back-End Developer responsible for Java services and API development at a tech consulting company. Collaborating on integrations and improvements in a dynamic AI-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Design, optimize, and execute MySQL queries, ensuring optimal performance (indexes, tuning, performance).
• Build and integrate efficient and secure REST APIs.
• Develop user interfaces with Vue (ideally Vue 2 + Vuetify).
• Collaborate on the implementation of reusable components and views.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure proper service integration.
• Support integration and deployment using CI/CD processes and containers (Docker)..

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java 11 development.
• Solid knowledge of microservices and SOLID principles.
• Solid knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL (complex queries, indexes, optimization).
• Building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Vue (ideally Vue 2 + Vuetify).
• Basic/intermediate knowledge of React (desirable).
• Nice-to-have
• Experience with NestJS (Node.js + TypeScript).
• Using Docker for containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or others).
• Desired Skills
• Knowledge of Groovy/Grails for support of complementary or legacy projects.
• Experience with CI/CD environments.
