About the role

• Senior Data Engineer analyzing and integrating data to support wellness-focused decision-making. Collaborating with teams and developing reporting systems using modern data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis: You conduct analyses that support data-driven decisions across all areas of the company.
• Modern data stack: You work with a mature tech stack: data in Snowflake, modeling with dbt and reporting with Amazon QuickSight.
• Data integration: You use a central data warehouse that consolidates many data sources: POS systems, sales data, movement data, web tracking and e‑commerce data across the entire customer journey — from product listing through cart to payment and usage.
• Requirements management: You are the central contact for reporting requests and for the further development of our complex data model.
• Collaboration: Together with our internal developers and external partners you help our business teams make consistently better data-driven decisions.
• Business understanding: You understand our business model, know the details of workflows and the goals of your colleagues. You support them with consulting and tailored reports.

Requirements

• Experience: You have several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect, ideally in a company with web and app products.
• Cloud: Experience with cloud solutions such as Snowflake and AWS is a plus.
• SQL skills: Confident handling of complex SQL queries is required.
• Tooling: Experience with dbt and Git is desirable.
• Business Intelligence: You have experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker – we use Amazon QuickSight.
• Governance: Knowledge of data governance and an understanding of security requirements and compliance (GDPR).
• Soft skills: Strong communication skills in German (min. C1) and English, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work well in a team.
• Organizational skills: You work in a structured way, prioritize effectively and have experience with tools such as Jira or Asana.
