About the role

  • Family Preservation Therapist providing therapeutic interventions for youth and families in Indiana. Collaborating with team members and professionals for family goals and needs in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapeutic interventions both in home and office settings
  • Collaborates with team members, schools, families and other professionals to meet each family's specific goals and needs
  • Maintain all client case records by documenting client contacts and contacts with the Department of Children's Services, schools, parents, and other professionals
  • Develops, revises treatment plans and writes monthly reports to the Department of Children's Services
  • Participates in case conferences and court proceedings as necessary for client care

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy or mental health counseling
  • 2 years of like social service experience in their respective discipline
  • Professional license (LSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LMHCA, LMHC) required
  • Ability to assess and coordinate treatment needs for complex family systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds
