About the role
- Client Accountant supporting financial management of income and expenditure at The Crown Estate. Responsible for producing client reports and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Support the raising of service charges and rental income
- Manage accounting for other income and maintain reconciliations
- Produce completion statements for property sales and lease terminations
- Process tenant drawdowns/refunds as instructed by surveyors
- Liaise with site staff to ensure service charge expenditure accuracy and report variances
- Assist with regular client reports and ad hoc reporting to surveyors and solicitors
- Collaborate with the wider client accounting team to manage workload effectively
Requirements
- Knowledge or experience of basic accounting/bookkeeping
- Minimum GCSE level education (Maths and English at grade C or above)
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
