About the role
- Business Consultant managing capital investment projects with TELUS Health. Ensure financial governance and optimize capital allocation with project management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Capital Expenditure (CapEx) envelope for a portfolio of projects
- Ensure sound financial governance and optimization of invested capital
- Support continuous improvement of financial management processes
- Manage and control CapEx spending for wireless network construction and maintenance projects
- Coordinate with deployment teams to establish monthly capital expenditure forecasts
- Identify and minimize budget variances and develop action plans to resolve issues
- Lead regular meetings to communicate financial results
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in project management, financial project control, and business analysis
- Bilingual (English/French) is required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of SAP PS module is an asset
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in English is required to operate in an English-language IT environment
