Responsibilities
Conduct systematic inventories of communication systems and installations
Develop electrical engineering concepts or review existing concepts
Prepare specifications and complete execution documentation for electrical systems
Prepare or review electrical calculations, designs and dimensioning
Clarify technical interfaces between new installations and existing systems
Prepare or review preliminary test documentation as part of internal and external inspection processes
Develop decommissioning documentation or review it for completeness and feasibility
Plan security and communication installations or review such plans
Take responsibility for planning or planning control of safety systems
Carry out construction and installation supervision during the building and assembly phases
Independently carry out commissioning and decommissioning activities
Perform and document construction, installation and functional tests
Requirements
Completed degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Information Technology
Completed vocational training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
At least two years of professional experience in electrical planning with a focus on security and communication technology
Solid knowledge of relevant VDE standards and technical guidelines
