Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic inventories of communication systems and installations
- Develop electrical engineering concepts or review existing concepts
- Prepare specifications and complete execution documentation for electrical systems
- Prepare or review electrical calculations, designs and dimensioning
- Clarify technical interfaces between new installations and existing systems
- Prepare or review preliminary test documentation as part of internal and external inspection processes
- Develop decommissioning documentation or review it for completeness and feasibility
- Plan security and communication installations or review such plans
- Take responsibility for planning or planning control of safety systems
- Carry out construction and installation supervision during the building and assembly phases
- Independently carry out commissioning and decommissioning activities
- Perform and document construction, installation and functional tests
Requirements
- Completed degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Information Technology
- Completed vocational training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in electrical planning with a focus on security and communication technology
- Solid knowledge of relevant VDE standards and technical guidelines
