About the role
- SAP Consultant specializing in IS-OIL responsible for managing sales processes and ensuring accurate billing. Focus on order-to-cash cycle in fluid products while adhering to regulations.
Responsibilities
- Act as an SAP SD IS-OIL Specialist Consultant, responsible for configuration, implementation and support of sales processes integrated with the IS-Oil module.
- Ensure correct execution of the order-to-cash cycle for fluid products.
- Take into account variables such as observed vs. standard volume, and the impacts of temperature and density.
- Ensure accuracy of commercial quantities and billing across the entire logistics chain.
- Responsible for working on integrations with other SAP modules and business areas.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory rules in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Manage sales orders and deliveries for bulk/fluid products.
- Ensure correct integration between SAP SD, TD (Transportation & Distribution) and MM.
- Identify opportunities to improve order-to-cash processes.
- Act proactively to resolve incidents and problems.
- Conduct training and support end users (key users).
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience with SAP SD, with significant experience in SAP IS-OIL (Specialist/Senior level).
- Proven experience in SAP SD IS-OIL implementation and/or rollout projects.
- Deep knowledge of processes related to Order-to-Cash for fluid products, including:
- • Sales orders and bulk deliveries
- • Volume conversion (observed vs. standard)
- • Gain/loss management related to temperature and density
- • Billing based on adjusted quantities
- Experience with integrations between SAP SD, MM and TD.
- Strong understanding of business processes in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience providing user support and delivering training.
- Experience with S/4HANA projects (desirable).
- Knowledge of advanced pricing in SAP SD (desirable).
- Experience integrating with external/logistics systems (desirable).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) (desirable).
- Intermediate or advanced English (desirable).
