Leader in energy storage solutions for Technique Solaire, integrating into projects and driving growth. Responsible for defining strategy and managing teams for energy storage activities across France and internationally.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Innovation, you will join an ambitious project and a team with strong sector expertise and actively contribute to the growth of this fast-growing business
Be end-to-end responsible for the activity (from Development to Operations) and define the strategy for the energy storage business for both standalone storage projects and projects coupled with photovoltaic plants
Lead the existing team and implement new processes to develop this strategic business line for the group
Achieve development targets (in MW/MWh) across the geographies targeted for storage development (France, Spain, the Netherlands and additional countries to come)
Implement storage projects in all their aspects: oversee the modelling required for sizing and for defining the business plan
Define, monitor and optimise project budgets (CAPEX and OPEX) for the storage component
Negotiate and manage contracts for asset monetization on energy markets, in collaboration with our aggregators
Oversee construction and commissioning of assets in collaboration with the project management teams
Seek optimisations for existing assets and explore new opportunities in France and internationally
Manage the storage teams and lead support teams on all technical aspects with the various stakeholders
Requirements
More than 10 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, with significant experience in energy storage (renewable developers and producers, utilities in particular)
Proven experience in team management and developing a new business line, with a broad strategic vision and the ability to implement a strategic plan
Proficient in English to operate in an international context
Curious, autonomous and passionate about technical topics and innovation in the energy sector, with a solid understanding of business challenges
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-level counterparts
Strong negotiation skills and a good grasp of contractual terms and commercial issues
