About the role

• FullStack engineer at Techery responsible for developing scalable Shopify platforms and integrating various systems. Collaborating on product development while leveraging AI and innovative tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to core platform development to unify multiple Shopify storefronts across acquired companies, including Ceremony of Roses, into a single scalable platform.
• Build and maintain unified store templates to replace manual per-store management.
• Develop self-service tools that allow business users to deploy updates across hundreds or thousands of stores.
• Ensure platform reliability and maintain compatibility with evolving Shopify updates and features.
• Implement integrations between inventory management systems across warehouses and storefronts.
• Develop fan insights tracking to capture customer purchase behavior and product preferences.
• Support data integrations with Neo4j and Snowflake to enhance analytics and data capabilities.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience in building scalable production systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and e-commerce platform development.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (TypeScript required).
• Experience with React and GraphQL development.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services.
• Experience designing and building microservices and APIs (REST, OAuth).
• Strong understanding of database technologies, including MySQL, Neo4j, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Experience with data modeling and schema design best practices.
• Knowledge of low-latency techniques and performance optimization.
• Experience with unit and integration testing in agile environments.
• Understanding of KPI optimization and execution best practices.
