Lead Product Manager responsible for developing an AI-powered Tax Advisor platform for Taxfix. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tax services for customers and partners.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for the Tax Advisor Platform in close collaboration with your cross-functional product team and key business stakeholders—thinking AI-first and leveraging its full potential to improve efficiency, quality, compliance and customer delight.
Build a deep understanding of user needs and behaviours, including:
internal teams using the tools,
tax advisors relying on their outputs, and
end customers indirectly affected by internal processes.
Establish structured feedback loops with internal users and tax advisors to identify pain points and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Develop a strong understanding of the market and competitive landscape, as well as regulatory constraints.
Balance customer value and enterprise value by making clear trade-offs and prioritisation decisions that maximise both user outcomes and business impact.
Drive hypothesis-driven, AI-powered product management and experimentation, fostering continuous learning from data and user insights.
Define clear KPIs and success metrics to measure impact and report progress, with a focus on operational efficiency, internal adoption, and downstream customer outcomes.
Build strong relationships and create alignment across key stakeholders (Engineering, Design, Data, Tax, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and Customer Success), ensuring clear prioritisation of customer problems and business objectives and proactive communication to drive successful execution.
Enable high-quality delivery end-to-end (from discovery to delivery) by leveraging AI throughout—prototype and ship lightweight solutions, own AI evaluations (evals) and quality metrics, and make pragmatic technical/design trade-offs to meet roadmap milestones.
Requirements
5+ years of relevant product management experience, ideally in a high-growth environment, at Senior Product Manager level (or equivalent).
Proven hands-on experience building AI-first products, ideally including internal tools, process improvement, or operational products—plus a passion for pushing the edge of AI product development.
Experience driving AI-powered product development end-to-end, from discovery to delivery (e.g., problem definition and validation, impact assessment, roadmap creation, solution design, and driving initiatives from ideation to adoption) in a highly cross-functional environment.
Strong decision-making skills grounded in both qualitative and quantitative insights, leveraging user research (including synthetic research where appropriate), experimentation (e.g., A/B tests), and data analysis.
Entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude, with a proven track record of taking ownership, driving results, and delivering measurable business impact.
Empathy and strong collaboration skills; you care deeply about user problems and can understand the perspectives and needs of teammates and stakeholders—especially internal users who depend on tools to do their jobs effectively.
Inclusive, clear communication style, with the ability to create well-structured, data-informed narratives and documents.
Experience in B2B fintech is a plus.
