Responsibilities
- Drive the stability and sustainability of cloud-based networks and software systems
- Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex systems
- Create proactive engineering mechanisms for managing health and performance of distributed virtual machines and cloud-based infrastructure
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
- Identify opportunities for improvement within existing frameworks, tools, and processes while addressing system functionality, performance, and configuration issues
- Support enterprise initiatives focused on Zero Trust Architecture and cloud modernization
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 4 years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories to solve moderate-scope technical challenges
- Ability to generate system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation strategies
- Familiarity with system conceptual design, performance assessments, and verification methods
- Strong analytical skills to assess technical performance measures and ensure system compliance
- DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
- At least one cloud certification
