Responsibilities

• To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience
• Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards
• Creation and execution of automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria
• Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities

Requirements

• Experience in delivering end-to-end manual and automated testing solutions in complex environments, with emphasis on developing scalable automation frameworks and strategies
• Working proficiency in Java for test automation development, including experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Knowledge of commonly used test automation frameworks (Selenium, RestAssured, TestNg, ...)
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration ecosystems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, alongside solid knowledge of Git
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, risk-based testing, test optimisation, and best practices for enterprise-grade automation
• Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
• Experience with relational databases, including data validation and test data design.
• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks is an advantage
