About the role
- Senior Supplier Risk Manager leading supplier risk management processes at Synchrony. Providing guidance and collaborating with partners to enhance risk mitigation strategies across the supplier lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on managing supplier risk across the full supplier lifecycle
- Lead the risk assessment of suppliers and inform due diligence evaluations
- Advise on risk mitigation actions for supplier incidents
- Collaborate with partners and oversee adherence to the Supplier Risk Management Program
- Monitor for material changes in risk and escalate concerns to leadership
Requirements
- 10+ years financial services industry experience with a bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree 15+ years financial services industry experience, specifically in a Risk, Compliance, and/or Supplier Management Role
- 2+ years direct responsibility for supplier risk management, supplier due diligence, risk or compliance management
- Experience with Coupa Risk Assess
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work in alignment with standard workday, US Eastern Standard Time
