Responsibilities
Proactively identify target accounts, buyer personas, and decision makers within priority industries
Execute outbound prospecting through calls, email and professional networking platforms
Qualify prospects through structured discovery covering business need, decision authority, budget and urgency
Lead early-stage solution discussions supported by pre-sales and technical teams
Progress and hand over larger or complex opportunities to Business Development Managers where required
Build and manage a healthy pipeline with clear next steps and accurate forecasting
Maintain complete and up to date records of all activities, opportunities and deal stages in the CRM
Collaborate closely with marketing, sales and delivery teams to refine messaging and targeting
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Marketing IT or related field advantageous
3-5 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or hybrid sales roles within an IT or software environment
Proven ability to generate pipeline, influence revenue, and close deals
Experience selling or engaging with customers in financial services, banking, payments, or regulated industries advantageous
