About the role
- IT Workplace Administrator responsible for 2nd level support and maintaining digital workplace operations. Collaborating with teams to support hardware and software for 800 users in Stuttgart.
Responsibilities
- You are the central point of contact at 2nd level for our digital workplace and ensure that tickets are resolved reliably.
- You manage workplace operations for around 800 users: laptops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and standard software.
- You set up devices, replace hardware, resolve faults, maintain inventory/asset data, and ensure that workstations are standardized, secure, and ready for use.
- You are responsible for the operational client management foundation: enrollment, standardized rollouts, compliance and configuration policies, update/patch strategies, and troubleshooting.
- You support the stable operation and user support of our M365 core services: Exchange Online/Outlook, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint.
- You analyze incidents, coordinate with providers/service partners when necessary, and keep network documentation and basic configurations clean and up to date.
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or an equivalent background.
- You bring practical experience in 2nd-level support and in operating Windows clients as well as workplace hardware.
- You are familiar with Microsoft 365 in everyday use (Outlook/Exchange, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint) and ideally have experience with Microsoft Intune (device management, policies, Autopilot, updates).
- A basic understanding of security, hardening, and backup/recovery concepts is a matter of course for you.
- You communicate confidently in German and well in English—for tools, tickets, and coordination.
