IT Workplace Administrator responsible for 2nd level support and maintaining digital workplace operations. Collaborating with teams to support hardware and software for 800 users in Stuttgart.
Responsibilities
You are the central point of contact at 2nd level for our digital workplace and ensure that tickets are resolved reliably.
You manage workplace operations for around 800 users: laptops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and standard software.
You set up devices, replace hardware, resolve faults, maintain inventory/asset data, and ensure that workstations are standardized, secure, and ready for use.
You are responsible for the operational client management foundation: enrollment, standardized rollouts, compliance and configuration policies, update/patch strategies, and troubleshooting.
You support the stable operation and user support of our M365 core services: Exchange Online/Outlook, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint.
You analyze incidents, coordinate with providers/service partners when necessary, and keep network documentation and basic configurations clean and up to date.
Requirements
You have completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or an equivalent background.
You bring practical experience in 2nd-level support and in operating Windows clients as well as workplace hardware.
You are familiar with Microsoft 365 in everyday use (Outlook/Exchange, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint) and ideally have experience with Microsoft Intune (device management, policies, Autopilot, updates).
A basic understanding of security, hardening, and backup/recovery concepts is a matter of course for you.
You communicate confidently in German and well in English—for tools, tickets, and coordination.
