About the role
- Senior Operations Manager improving student experience and overseeing operations at Stepful. Drive strategic initiatives to scale operations efficiently and achieve student success metrics.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve a large portion of the student journey from learning to job placement
- Design and implement experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale
- Optimize operations and metrics tracking for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches, instructors, and placement coordinators
- Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionals
- Own and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, placement, and satisfaction rates
- Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students’ and student experience professionals’ feedback to help inform their product roadmaps
Requirements
- 5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment
- Analytical acumen, an ability to optimize metrics, and a knack for successfully developing action plans to meet business goals
- Ability to own both strategy & execution
- Ability to align multiple stakeholders on the strategic direction for the business
- Ability to work directly with external partners and clients
- Bonus points if:
- You have an MBA
- You’ve previously worked at a startup
- You have experience working in healthcare
