Responsibilities
- Ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, reconciliations)
- Review, posting and management of 30–100 invoices per day
- Daily bank checks and payment overviews
- Preparatory payroll bookkeeping (payroll processed externally; you handle data import and verification)
- Ensure correct and complete administration
- Support with monthly and annual financial statements
- Close collaboration with the Senior Accountant and international management
- Participation in the migration from DATEV to a new accounting tool
- Use of tools such as Pleo and Flowers (nice to have)
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in accounting
- 1+ years of professional experience in accounting, including invoicing, month-end closes and payroll bookkeeping
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience with DATEV is an advantage, as well as strong Excel skills and an affinity for numbers
- Open mindset and willingness to learn, with the intention to take on more complex finance topics over time
