About the role

• Project Technical Lead delivering innovative water treatment projects with a focus on public health and environmental protection. Collaborating with teams to provide technical oversight and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Technical Lead for water infrastructure projects with responsibility for providing project oversight and leadership
• Provide technical management and leadership for projects in the Eastern/Atlantic region and projects across North America
• Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables for on-time delivery, technical quality, and within budget
• Perform design for water treatment projects from preliminary design to detailed design, bidding, and construction inspection
• Preparation and guidance of engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents
• Prepare proposals and contribute to the development of winning strategies to help secure new work

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
• P.Eng license, or ability to obtain licensure within one year
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment project design and delivery
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience in the design of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, including process design, plant upgrades, optimization, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with treatment technologies such as filtration, sedimentation, chemical treatment, disinfection, biological processes, and advanced treatment (e.g., membrane systems, PFAS removal, nutrient removal)
