About the role
- Lead Business Systems Analyst supporting the City of Phoenix Fire Department in business process analysis and systems integration. Requires strong stakeholder engagement and technical skills in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Lead business and technical requirements gathering and documentation
- Map business processes, system workflows, and legacy system integrations
- Act as liaison and advocate for Fire Prevention with SHAPE PHX vendors and implementation teams
- Analyze and optimize business processes and workflows for system integration
- Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ procurement activities
- Support multi-year, phased project implementations
- Deliver executive-level documentation and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Lead Business Analyst
- Strong experience with: Business process mapping & workflow analysis, Requirements gathering & acceptance testing, Systems integration and legacy systems, Procurement processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
- Advanced proficiency in: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio, Project/PWA, Wireframing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with executive-ready documentation
