About the role
- Senior Accountant responsible for various accounting tasks in Vilnius. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient processes.
Responsibilities
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure high-quality day-to-day general accounting and bookkeeping processes according to Local Statutory Accounting Requirements and IFRS
- Maintain smooth accounting documentation flow, organization and intercompany procedure
- Prepare monthly VAT declaration, Intrastat declaration, and Statistics reports
- Follow the guidance of the Financial controller and Group Accounting Policies
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support management with all accounting and financial questions
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting or audit
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on process improvement
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel and cloud-based tools (e.g., OneDrive)
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken
