Process Engineer executing engineering studies and developing process understandings for Solvay’s Peroxides Business Unit. Contributing to continuous improvement approach in industrial operations.
Responsibilities
Executing engineering studies to address various objectives such as process development for new materials, debottlenecking, quality, safety, and environmental impact reduction
Interacting smoothly with all engineering disciplines, technical experts, R&I researchers of Peroxides GBU, and site representatives
Performing modeling and simulation, defining process flow diagrams, sizing, specifying, and selecting equipment, and developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID)
Interpreting data, maintaining, and developing the know-how related to H2O2 & eH2O2 Technologies
Consolidating process design knowledge by developing guidelines or design tools
Requirements
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Relevant work experience of minimum 10 years in process engineering, with knowledge of process engineering principles
Scientific Rigor
Knowledge of Process Engineering
Strong technical expertise in process design and optimization
Fluency in French and English
