About the role
- Senior Data Architect designing and leading data solutions for strategic clients at Solo Network, a tech consultancy. Focused on building robust data architectures and collaborative engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion, etc.) for analytical and operational environments;
- Work closely with engineering, BI, Data Science, and Generative AI teams to ensure technical cohesion and alignment with business objectives;
- Define standards for data modeling, ingestion, processing, and data governance;
- Support the construction of scalable pipelines using DataOps and CI/CD practices;
- Make technical decisions based on hands-on data engineering experience;
- Conduct technical reviews and support tool selection and best practices;
- Interact with business stakeholders and client executive teams to recommend appropriate and sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data architecture on high-complexity projects;
- Strong background in data engineering, with hands-on experience in ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and deployment of pipelines;
- Expertise in data modeling (relational, dimensional, and event-driven/event-based);
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure;
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem tools:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure SQL / SQL Server
- Power BI
- Purview, Fabric (desirable);
- Knowledge of data governance practices, LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), data lineage, and cataloging;
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary squads from a technical perspective;
- Good communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- Microsoft data certifications (DP-203, DP-500, DP-600, DP-700, etc.);
- Experience with AI projects, MLOps, and intelligent automation;
- Experience with multicloud environments.
