Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of software engineering, from initial design and development through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Collaborate with PMs, designers, and cross-functional teams to shape and refine feature requirements
- Lead architectural decisions, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable
- Drive operational success of features by establishing monitoring, alerting, and support processes
- Mentor and guide junior developers
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to high standards
- Engage in troubleshooting and incident response to address production issues
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, React and SQL databases
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience managing both the development and operational aspects of software, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive mindset for identifying potential improvements
- Prior experience in a senior role mentoring or guiding team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
