Sustainability & Certification Manager ensuring product compliance and certifications in E-Commerce. Collaborating with suppliers and teams to uphold sustainability standards across brands.
Responsibilities
Certification Management: Responsible for ensuring our certifications are functioning (from GOTS to Grüner Knopf and Fair Wear), making sure all requirements are met and relevant audits are passed successfully.
Product Compliance & Labeling: Ensure our products are correctly certified and labeled.
Supply Chain & Due Diligence: Maintain close contact with our suppliers, proactively follow up on issues, and ensure ESG and compliance requirements are implemented.
Data Governance & Reporting: Accountable for the quality and completeness of our ESG and certification data.
Future Topics & Innovation: Actively engage with emerging ESG and compliance topics and integrate new requirements.
Requirements
Completed degree in Sustainability Management, Textile Management, Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain/Sustainability, or a comparable qualification.
Alternatively: relevant professional experience in the textile industry with a focus on certifications, audits, and supply chain.
1–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a textile or fashion company with exposure to certifications, audits, and supply chain management.
Solid knowledge of textile certifications and audit processes (GOTS, OCS, GRS, RWS, and ideally Grüner Knopf, Fair Wear) and experience handling certificates.
Confident user of Google Workspace, Asana, and preferably PLM systems such as Delogue.
Strong communication skills when interacting with internal stakeholders and suppliers, including in English.
Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a structured and proactive approach.
