Sales Executive responsible for growing the German education market through stakeholder relationships. Driving sales cycle while representing Skolon at educational events and developing strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
You will drive the expansion of the German education market by building relationships with relevant stakeholders, including school principals, school authorities and decision-makers at the state level
You will manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation through contract closing to post-sale support
You will establish sustainable relationships with school leadership, municipal and state representatives, and other relevant actors, primarily via digital meetings supplemented by regular on-site visits
You will represent Skolon at education trade fairs (e.g., didacta, Learntec), in user groups, webinars and at relevant conferences for networking and business development
Travel to our headquarters in Sweden as well as to customer meetings, events and trade fairs is a regular part of the role
Requirements
At least 3 years of professional experience in business development, sales or a comparable position, preferably in a SaaS, EdTech or digital environment
Demonstrable experience managing the full sales process from acquisition to successful close
Strong understanding of the German education system and its decision-making structures (e.g., school authorities, ministries of education, schools)
Experience working with school leadership and public institutions is a clear advantage
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Experience in start-up or scale-up environments is highly welcome — you thrive in a flexible role that may extend beyond traditional responsibilities
