Responsibilities
Lead the entire legal function as a pragmatic business partner with a risk-based approach.
Draft and negotiate CGS, CP, Annexes IA, DPAs, SCCs, NDAs, and KA.
Handle complex negotiations with strategic suppliers and major accounts.
Maintain the right balance between business and legal to apply pragmatic risk management.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, aligned with Skello's risk tolerance.
Monitor regulatory developments, especially those affecting our clients' industries.
Update registers and compliance processes, and manage data subject rights requests with operational teams.
Work closely with Tech and Product teams to ensure Privacy by Design.
Ensure proper corporate governance and monitor shareholding.
Drive international expansion by setting up and managing subsidiaries.
Strategically lead insurance renewals.
Act as a trusted partner and advisor to all teams (Sales, Product, HR, Finance).
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience, ideally starting in a law firm and then in a growth-stage tech environment.
Ability to work autonomously and to take full ownership of the legal function.
Risk-based approach (Risk Management): propose clear, actionable options and solutions, helping the business unblock situations without slowing innovation.
Essential ability to translate legal concepts simply and clearly for operational teams (Sales, Tech).
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
