  • Oracle Database Administrator managing mission-critical Oracle databases in high-security public sector. Handling installation, configuration, security, and performance tuning responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, secure, and optimise mission‑critical Oracle databases in a high‑security public‑sector environment.
  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle Database.
  • Manage backup/recovery (RMAN), monitoring, performance tuning, and DR.
  • Administer users, roles, auditing, and security hardening.
  • Support high‑availability setups (RAC/Data Guard).
  • Troubleshoot incidents and provide on‑call support.

Requirements

  • Strong Oracle DBA experience in secure or regulated environments.
  • SQL/PLSQL expertise, Linux skills, and automation/scripting exposure.
  • Experience with RAC, ASM, performance optimisation, and secure configurations.
  • Familiarity with public‑sector security standards and operational controls.
