About the role
- Product Owner managing the Direct Booking product at SiteMinder. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance hotel booking experiences through agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in exploration and refinement of the product roadmap by partnering closely with the Product Manager
- Prioritise the team’s product backlog to ensure focus is on maximum value aligned with product strategy
- Maintain the team’s product backlog, ensuring an appropriate pipeline of refined items is ready for development
- Work closely with the Engineering team to translate requirements into user stories with detailed feature specifications and well-defined acceptance criteria
- Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, reviews, inceptions and retrospectives
- Define product release plans and regularly communicate delivery progress and milestones to all affected stakeholders
- Manage production issues and customer support queries, incorporating small fixes and enhancements into the backlog
- Stay current with product management best practices, industry trends, and Agile methodologies
