About the role
- C++ Software Engineer developing and testing software solutions in Telecom, Industrial Automation, and IoT at Sioux Technologies in Belgium. Engaged in all development phases from analysis to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en testen van complexe C++-software in Linux- en RTOS-omgevingen.
- Real-time applicates en multithreaded systemen realiseren.
- Software integreren met hardware, netwerken en subsystemen.
- Werken met communicatieprotocollen zoals TCP/IP, MQTT, VoIP en XMPP.
- Video- en streamingstandaarden implementeren (DVB-S/T/C, MPEG-2/4, H.264, Dolby Atmos).
- Optimaliseren van algoritmes en soft real-time performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of master in software engineering, elektronica of een aanverwante richting.
- Ervaring met moderne C++ (C++11 t/m C++20), STL, Boost en Python.
- Ervaring met Linux, en/of een real-time besturingssysteem (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks).
- Ervaring met build, versiecontrole en CI/CD systemen (CMake, Git, Jenkins, Teamcity).
- Je bent analytisch, zelfstandig, maar ook een teamspeler.
- Je bent kwaliteitsbewust en hebt goede test skills.
- Je communiceert vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels (of bereid bent snel Nederlands te leren).
