About the role

Responsibilities
- Researches, analyzes, and reports on competitors’ products and sales practices to senior sales members
- Gathers, analyzes and reports on market intelligence
- Works primarily within assigned geographic territory to increase sales to established client base

- Works independently to develop new sales accounts within and beyond designated sales territory
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience within foodservice or a related FMCG environment
- Demonstrated success managing distributor or wholesale customer relationships at a senior level
- Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, trade spend and joint business planning
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop high performing teams
- Well developed negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation capability in a fast paced environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting systems
