About the role

• Tech Lead at SevenX Gaming, a leader in Game Tech in Brazil, defining technical architecture and managing teams. Focused on innovation and ensuring quality in game experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve scalable architectures (microservices/modular services), event-driven and resilient;
• Select patterns and practices (DDD, CQRS when applicable, SOLID, Clean Architecture);
• Structure a shared Design System across Web and Mobile and promote reuse;
• Lead technical rituals (tech talks, guilds), conduct code reviews focused on quality and performance, and manage individual development plans;
• Support technical prioritization with product (debt vs. feature), estimations and breaking down epics;
• Promote a culture of living documentation (ADRs, RFCs, playbooks) and continuous learning;
• Ensure the test pyramid (unit, component, integration, E2E) across all fronts;
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and respond to incidents with post-mortems;
• Encourage security best practices (OWASP, secrets management, cloud access policies);
• Consolidate CI/CD pipelines with automation for tests, linting, build and deploy;
• Lead performance and cost optimization initiatives (especially on AWS and messaging systems);
• Support integrations (Firebase, Appsflyer, WebViews) with technical governance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical leadership and mentoring, supporting team growth, engineering best practices and delivery quality;
• Experience leading end-to-end projects, ensuring consistent deliveries aligned with business objectives;
• Strong foundation in software architecture, with a focus on scalable, resilient and observable systems;
• Hands-on experience in back-end development and integrations, prioritizing scalability, performance and reliability;
• Commitment to engineering best practices, automated testing, observability and security;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (on-site in Nova Lima, MG).
