Responsibilities
Responsible for the operation of on-premises Kubernetes clusters via Rancher, ensuring stability and security
Optimize metrics infrastructure through targeted tuning, alerting, and retention management
Owner of central services such as Grafana, Harbor, and HashiCorp Vault, ensuring high availability
Further develop the KVM-based VM platform, automate provisioning and ensure high-performance resource distribution
Maintain the logging environment from ingestion through index management and data retention
Analyze and resolve issues methodically across Linux/VM, network, storage, or application levels
Eliminate manual effort through consistent automation and standardization; work closely with development teams on deployments and operations
Requirements
Several years of experience in infrastructure or platform operations (e.g., as a DevOps / Platform Engineer)
In-depth knowledge of administration and troubleshooting in production Linux environments
Proficient with Kubernetes, ideally on-premises
Practical experience with monitoring/metrics (Prometheus and/or VictoriaMetrics)
Experience with container registries (e.g., Harbor) and common container/Helm workflows
Experience with Vault or a comparable secrets solution (familiarity with policies/auth and secret lifecycle)
Knowledge of Ceph and/or Linstor or similar distributed storage solutions
Structured thinking and working methods, familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira, consistent documentation, calm under incident conditions, and clear communication with the team
