Responsibilities
Responsible for the technical aspects of product marketing
Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives
Conducts continuous research and provide updates on competitor products
Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products
Contribute towards the creation of marketing content in collaboration with corporate marketing
Promote the product within the company, the distribution channel, and to the market and end users
Analyze industries, applications, features, competition, and trends
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including engineering, marketing and sales staff
Help define the product roadmap (objectives) in collaboration with engineering
Provide timely response to inquiries from customers and field teams regarding products, pricing, and other information
Work with the sales and business planning teams to drive to financial targets for the product line
Work with the product line managers to prepare new product proposals
Develop relationships with partners and complementary product vendors, to make sure that our products are well positioned in the market
Drive new product development activities, identifying critical issues and working with engineering teams to solve them
Requirements
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
