Responsibilities
Solicit new personal and commercial business via telephone, networking and through your own centers of insurance.
Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing business.
Quote, bind, and underwrite all new and renewal applications.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.
Conduct a comprehensive review of policies to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell insurance products to existing clients.
Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and advise them on policy features and coverage.
Manage renewals and retention to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with quotes.
Maintain strong business relationships and deliver excellent client service.
Requirements
Active 2-20 ; 4-40 or 20-44 license required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2+ years insurance sales and service experience.
Confidence in prospecting, networking, and closing business.
Proficiency with agency management software and quoting systems.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and ability to meet deadlines.
Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration.
Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and market trends.
