Software Engineer responsible for coordinating the integration of software for electrified bus systems. Work at the interface of core vehicle systems and external bodybuilder solutions ensuring flexibility and safety.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the integration of embedded and application-level software for electrified bus systems (e.g., battery, charging, powertrain, and energy management)
Ensure robust integration of bodybuilder-installed functions such as HVAC, accessibility solutions and warning systems
Act as a technical interface for bodybuilders, supporting their integration efforts with Scania’s electrical and software platforms
Contribute to continuous improvements in collaboration frameworks, guidelines, and digital integration solutions
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python; knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and AUTOSAR is valuable
Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, ISO 15118)
Solid background in embedded or automotive software development
Experience with cross-functional collaboration, ideally with external partners
Bus driver license
Fluent in Swedish and English
