About the role
- Field Service Engineer for Sartorius ensuring proper installation and maintenance of bioprocessing equipment. Working from home with travel to customer sites in Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Travelling to customer sites to install equipment
- Validating and commissioning of equipment (i.e. bioreactors, filtration, biowelders, biosealers, etc.) in a cleanroom environment adhering to GMP guidelines
- Repairing, maintaining, and calibrating equipment
- Writing and reviewing routine documentation such as SOP’s and process documentation, prepare service reports
- Using field automation systems and liaising with technical team, logistics, engineering and support teams
- Following company procedures and protocols i.e: GMP regulations
Requirements
- Completed an HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience as a field-based electromechanical engineer within the pharmaceutical industry following GMP guidelines, though candidates from other industries (i.e.: medical, food, drink etc.) will also be considered
- Experience of servicing automated systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Right to work in Ireland
