About the role

• Group Leader Process Management / SAP IS-U managing an interdisciplinary team in Düsseldorf. Overseeing strategic development and implementation of complex billing and data processes.

Responsibilities

• You lead an interdisciplinary expert team of project managers, process specialists, SAP IS‑U business consultants and external consultants, and develop the team both professionally and methodically.
• You are responsible for the strategic further development of complex billing, master data and market communication processes.
• You manage the design and implementation of regulatory requirements and ensure timely, audit‑proof implementation.
• You lead or take responsibility for interdisciplinary projects with high external visibility, e.g. the migration of our SAP IS‑U system to S/4HANA.
• You coordinate collaboration with IT, grid operations, sales, controlling, finance and external market partners.
• You ensure process and data quality — from functional/customizing aspects through test and quality management to sustainable error prevention.
• You are responsible for the incident and requirements management process in billing, including the functional assessment of issues.

Requirements

• A completed degree (Diploma/Master) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Energy Management or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the SAP IS‑U / SAP CI environment, ideally in billing, invoicing, master data or market communication
• Solid knowledge of energy industry processes as well as regulatory requirements and market rules
• Experience in the technical or disciplinary leadership of an expert team and in steering complex projects
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and the ability to make sound decisions in volatile conditions
• Strong communication and persuasion skills and the ability to present complex topics appropriately to different audiences
• Solution‑oriented, hands‑on mentality combined with a sense of responsibility and willingness to drive change
