Responsibilities
Analyze and assess customers' technical requirements
Develop technical concepts (including modification/retrofit concepts) for customer systems
Establish and maintain professional collaboration with customers
Ensure complete definition, coordination, and implementation of technical project requirements
Serve as technical contact for subcontractors and suppliers
Responsible for work preparation and its execution
Ensure compliance with industry standards and specific mining regulations concerning the safety of conveyor and hoisting machinery
Create and evaluate functional specifications and technical deliverables
Control and monitor technical project implementation
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field
Technological expertise in the mining industry
Knowledge of power supply systems (medium and low voltage)
Several years of professional experience in managing industrial project business
Solid experience in hardware engineering (creation of switching/circuit documentation; engineering tools – EPLAN preferred)
Design/specification of required components such as medium- and low-voltage switchgear
Knowledge of sensors for electrical drive systems
Basic knowledge of plant/industrial automation
Business-fluent German and English
