About the role
- Senior QA Engineer championing application quality for AI-powered financial automation at Rydoo/Semine. Collaborating in a dynamic team focusing on testing and automation.
Responsibilities
- Join our cross-functional, autonomous team as a Senior QA Engineer, championing application quality and user experience.
- Collaborate with product-driven environments.
- Refine requirements, identify gaps, and perform exploratory + structured testing (both UI and API).
- Build deep product knowledge and contribute to our test automation using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation.
- Solid hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing scalable and maintainable automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of automation best practices, including framework design, maintainability, reusability, and CI/CD integration.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques (exploratory, functional, etc.).
- Comfortable communicating in English (both written and spoken).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong user empathy and ability to identify requirement gaps.
- Understanding of the testing pyramid.
- Experience testing systems involving Service Bus or similar message queuing technologies is a plus.
- Experience with issue tracking systems (preferably Azure DevOps) is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile teams is a plus.
- Prior experience working within product-focused companies and/or independent, autonomous teams is a plus.
- A degree in computer sciences or a related field is preferred, but any equivalent experience is just as valuable.
