About the role
- Director of Finance leading pricing and financial analysis for Ryder’s DTS and TM business segments. Managing a team to enhance pricing strategies and deliver business objectives.
Responsibilities
- responsible for leading the DTS and TM (Transportation Management) business segments pricing and other financial analysis activities
- Develop a detailed understanding of Ryder’s business model and pricing model
- partner with Operations and Sales leadership to deliver strategic initiatives and business objectives
- manage a team of ~5 people
- pricing model enhancement and updates
- contract review/analysis/negotiation
- Provide financial support to sell cost competitive and profitable deals
- assess and incorporates risks into pricing models
- deliver well documented, timely and complete customer pricing deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Finance or Business
- Eight (8) years or more experience
- Strategic cost management
- Advanced Excel skills required; advance Excel financial modelling skills preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI and other business intelligence tools preferred
- Analytical ability and problem solving skills
